people sometimes ask me why I fought and tbh it’s not always easy to answer. you can say you fought for justice but somewhere along the way that turned to fighting for survival, and then freedom (from unjust laws and an oppressive government). it doesn’t matter that I was out in the open most of the time, I wasn’t free. I fought for Freedom back then and I can’t BEGIN to imagine what it must be like for those who are actually stuck within four walls today. I'm talking about those who don't deserve to be there in the first place and those who've been summarily sentenced to life imprisonment without any chance for an appeal. I didn’t attend most trials and yeah I’m no legal expert (so no need to bash me in the comments about this, thanks) but it doesn’t take one to know some of them were just botched. My point is: just because we aren’t physically in a battle anymore doesn’t mean the fight is over. Kindly, The Waif (let’s bring #potterwatch back ) #momentoftruth#butwhatdoIknow
ps: unfollow me if you'd like, I don't give a damn. 65 89 599 more_horiz
